JazmineJazmine Marie, who was born on September 9, 1987, in Philadelphia is an American R&B and soul vocalist. Her birthplace was in Philadelphia, her debut album, Fearless was released in the year 2008. It topped Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and was also certified platinum by Recording Industry Association of America. The record was followed by four hits, including "Need You Bad" and "Bust Your Windows" Both of them were in the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart; the former became Sullivan's first and the sole number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Sullivan came out with Love Me Back in 2010 as her second studio album. The album was also well-received by music critics. After taking a three-year break, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and dropped her debut studio album on the label, Reality Show, in 2015 and became her debut album to reach at the top of the Top R&B Albums chart. Her most acclaimed album, Heaux Tales EP in 2021. It includes "Pick up Your feelings". Sullivan earned two Grammy Awards and a Billboard Women in Music Award. She also received 3 NAACP Image Awards and 2 BET Awards. Time named her one of their 100 most influential people of 2022.
